A dude i work with died today. He was golfing with a customer, bent over to tee up his ball and never came back up. I did not know him that well. Talked to him most every day though. He was only 52.
Now, I am not going to try to get all sappy or anything like that. But it got me to thinking. Not about him, he is plant food now, taken care of. it's just that he is gone so abruptly. I did some work with him yesterday, his desk is still full of his stuff. I think his wife would still be at work right now if not for this. An old neighbor of mine died last night as well. He had cancer for years, was in the hospital for months and the decision was made to end it for him. But to go out golfing one afternoon and not finish your round... fuck.
That's all i have to say about that for now. Still has me thinking though.

Day One
Here it is, My first blog.
A little about myself to start.
I'm in my late twenties, live in Alberta, Canada, work in the print media sector and aspire to start my own publishing company.
I am currently reading an old "Forgotten Realms" run by R. A. Salvatore and the complete Marvel Civil War chronology.
I have a 3 year old son who lives with his mother 5 hours drive away who i see once a month. (wish it was more) And a pregnant "Life Partner" who i just bought my first house with.
Topics of discussion on my blog will be whatever strikes my interest that day. I like to read a lot of news and frequent howstuffworks.com.
Thank you for reading, I will do my best to always respond to any constructive comments made.
